Why NFL insiders think I’m wrong about what 10-7 is worth and say ‘keep swinging’ for QB savior in the draft

You don’t climb from an entry-level job to management without putting in long hours. 

You don’t mix all the ingredients and eat the pancakes without doing any cooking.

You don’t buy a Peloton and lose 20 pounds without exercising.

So, why has it become popular to ask NFL doormats to skip a bunch of steps on the way to winning a Super Bowl? Is there no longer any room in fandom to appreciate a consistently good team for just being good?
