What are Vermonters craving for this year's Super Bowl?

According to Google Trends, it's pork chow mein.

Ahead of Sunday's game between the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Google Trends released Tuesday its annual food map and other big search drivers of Internet traffic for Super Bowl LV.

According to Google Trends, pork chow mein is this year's most uniquely searched Vermont food for Super Bowl LV.

Pork chow mein, a Chinese noodle dish, is considered Vermont's most uniquely searched food for Super Sunday. Last year, chicken breast tender was Vermont's most uniquely searched food. In 2019, it was lasagna.

Buffalo chicken dip, 7 layer dip and chili were among the most common searches by state.

The Washington Post poked fun at several states' most uniquely searched foods. On Vermont, the Post wrote:

"It was my understanding that the last order of chow mein was placed sometime around 1984, but today I learned that Vermont is serving up the Chinese noodle dish at its Super Bowl parties, probably washed down with a nanobrewed beer produced by a bearded man in a shed."
