Make-A-Wish sending Louisville 16-year-old to Super Bowl
A 16-year-old Louisville student is headed to the Super Bowl.When Caleb was a freshman at Male High School, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. Now, the football player is a junior and in remission.Each year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation sends a group to the Super Bowl and Caleb will joins this year's crew. The foundation said it will be the largest group yet with 19 people attending.Caleb's adventure begins Thursday with a reception at a local Dave & Buster's. On Friday, they fly to Miami where the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will face off in Super Bowl LIV.In addition to watching the game, Caleb will get to tour Hard Rock Stadium, hang out with past and present NFL players and get red carpet access to the NFL Honors event. “We hope that by having his wish come true, Caleb will return from Florida with the physical and emotional strength needed to face whatever challenges come his way," said Kim Hales, senior regional director of development with Make-A-Wish Kentucky.Super Bowl LIV is this Sunday.It's officially Super Bowl week and all eyes are on Miami:
